The Dancehall act, Yung L (Mr Marley) talks about his music journey, thoughts on the music industry and unwillingness to sign into Chocolate City Music
According to him, he dropped “Medicine for Music” without the support of his family but with the belief that his dreams will be accomplished no matter what.
He also mentioned his mind wasn’t in tune to sign to Choc City even though he is related to Audu Maikori by family ties.
“Nigerian artists are scared to collaborate with me and I don’t know why”, Yung L says.
He reveals his debut album will be released in the first quarter of next year and is to be titled “Better Late than Never”.
He also mentioned that he doesn’t believe in awards, saying also that there is no label in Nigeria and adding that the Telecoms company has taken over.
