Wizkid who was advised by his doctors to abstain from live performances in December 2016 and January 2017, has ignored the advice as he performed at the Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged Concert.
The 12th year Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged was held on Friday, December 23 featuring performances from P-Square, Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Falz, Omawumi and many others, hosted by Bovi and produced by Cobhams.
Despite his health issue, Wizkid payed respect to Cecil Hammond, the organiser of the concert, as he performed several hits and backed by collaborator DJ Xclusive.
According to Wizkid;
“Doctors told me not to perform…. but before I blew, this concert held, and has supported me. I have to do this for them.” Wizkid recently released a new single “Daddy Yo”,featuring Ghanaian songstress, Efya, with a video released via VEVO.
