There have been constant rumours of a reunion for the Spice Girls- Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell -ever since their record-breaking comeback tour in 2009.
They were last seen together in 2012 for a performance at the London Olympics closing ceremony and for the launch of their Viva Forever musical in 2012.
According to the rumours, the five have been discussing and they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion. They will work together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls.
Now Victoria Beckham, formerly Posh Spice, has revealed that it won’t be happening – at least not with her involved – as she’s now moved on and focused entirely on her successful career in fashion design.
She said: “It is not happening. At some point you’ve gotta know when it’s time to say, ‘that was great’. Girl Power will always be out there and is something that we all still believe. What I do now is still all about girl power, but it’s empowering women through fashion. I don’t think I’ll be slipping into a PVC catsuit anytime soon.”
