A new trend of turn up, called FAAJI MONDAY heralded the commencement of The annual University of Lagos (UNILAG) Mass Communication Week yesterday.
This year’s celebration was tagged ‘FLIP THE SCRIPT’.
Students were required to dress in their native attires, as the event was going to be traditional.
The inflow of palm wine and local delicacies made the turn up the envy of passersby.
Faaji Monday recorded a large crowd show, involving activities like the food competition, dance competition, drama, music and word translations.
The department is not just flipping scripts, they are turning heads as well.
This week promises to be one that will not be forgotten in the history of departmental turn up for a very long time.
The week continues with the annual Mass Communication’s Got Talent show, to be held today, 18th of July at the Afe Babalola Hall.
Some of the judges this year are Yinka Davies, Segun Arinze, Otunba Tunji Sotimirin and Doris Simeon.
The department of Mass communication has once again, outdone the previous years.
