The long-awaited biopic of late rapper, Tupac Shakur, which is set for release in theaters and cinemas on the rapper’s birthday in June, will have its first screening at the American Black Film Festival.
The biopic is titled, ‘All Eyez On Me’.
It chronicles Shakur’s rise to superstardom as a hip-hop artist, actor, poet and activist, as well as his imprisonment and controversial time at Death Row Records.
His influence and impact has led him to rock and roll induction.
Shakur by record had sold more than 75 million records worldwide, with his fourth studio album, 1996’s All Eyez on Me, selling more than 10 million copies.
