You will not be given any award for saying nothing lasts forever. This includes clothes and other items in your wardrobe. It does not really matter if it is an expensive attire or not, there comes a time when you have to either stop wearing it or you gift it out. Here are signs to know that your clothes have overstayed their time in your possession:
It’s covered in stains
There are certain things you can do to get rid of cloth stains but if there are more stains on your cloth than usual, it may be time to abandon it. This said there are some stains that are indelible.You will still find bits of it on your clothes. So, what is the point of wearing it?
It lost its texture
It is only a matter of time before an attire that has lost it feel and appearance gives way. This can be embarrassing if it gives way in an interview or during an evening date. Since it is giving you the loss of texture warning, it is advisable you abandon it.
It is ripped
Ripped jeans and perhaps reaped dresses have become fashionable. Regardless, there are some dresses you yourself know that it is not worth wearing because the tear is obvious. In fact, it is beyond mending. Just toss it!
You have not worn it for a long time
The reason some people do not wear a cloth for a long time is that they do not like the cloth. They are unsure whether to give it out or just abandon it. The later is better.
It no longer fits
Wearing clothes that no longer fit makes you appear haggard. If you can, just slim fit. If not simply ditch the attire.
It is no longer trendy
Sometimes, some trends are like mistake trends. They only appear for a short while and faze out quickly. When you are hasty in joining the trend, you are faced with the dilemma of appearing outdated when you wear the outfit again or never wearing the outfit ever again. We choose the second option for you. Get rid of it!
