You love them so much that you thought that it will never end. However, something shocking happened and they shattered your heart into a thousand pieces. You lock yourself in your room for days and cry your eyes out. Necessary. But, you are not helping yourself. Your bae is probably hitting on the next person, or at the pub having fun, while you suck like a baby. No! It doesn’t have to be like this. You can recover from the heartbreak with these tips. Losing a loving relationship is not the end of the world:

  1. Accept that getting over the end of your relationship is supposed to be difficult.
  2. There’s nothing wrong with grieving, but importantly, know when to stop.
  3. Ask for help.
  4. Don’t dwell on the past.
  5. Stop viewing yourself as a victim.
  6. Don’t wait for an apology to forgive.

  1. Embrace change.
  2. Take time to relax.
  3. Develop a strong, positive and flexible mind set.
  4. Run away from toxic people.
  5. You should be around friends who will help, encourage and tell you that are amazing. Toxic people will only make things worse.
  6. View the failure of your relationship simply as an important lesson you needed to learn.
