Paul Pogba limped off during the first half of Manchester United’s comfortable 3-0 win over Basel in the Champions League on Tuesday and is now set to be on the sidelines for at least two weeks.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho suspects that his star midfielder Paul Pogba suffered a hamstring injury.
In a post-match conference, Mourinho said, “I just know from experience it’s a muscular injury. In my experience, muscular injuries stop you from playing for a few weeks, I think.”
Pogba has so far scored two goals and provided as many assists in four Premier League games to help United sit top.
He will miss Sunday’s meeting with Everton and to an extent, matches against Burton Albion, Southampton and CSKA Moscow.
