Reports making the rounds have it that Mesut Ozil is fed up with life at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger and will fancy the idea of joining Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The German international, whose contract will come to an end this season, is reportedly willing to let his deal run out and become a free agent next summer.
It is believed that Arsenal’s failure to grant the 28-year old an improved contract of £250,000 a week, might be the reason behind his reported decision.
Mourinho has always been a long-time admirer of Ozil and the German midfielder is one of his prime targets for the next summer transfer window alongside Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann and Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic.
Arsenal will be hosting West Bromwich in an EPL encounter later today and Ozil might likely be rested in preparation for their Europa league game against BATE Borisov on Thursday.
