Nollywood screen diva, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde who is fondly called Omosexy has bagged the award for “Best Actress” for her role in the movie, “Alter Ego”.

The award was presented to her at the Nollywood Travel Film Festival in Toronto.

The elated actress took to Instagram to share the news with her fans yesterday.

She wrote, “Wow! Thank you @Nollywood Travel Film Festival. It’s our first award fam!”

The movie which is the first movie Omotola appeared in after a three-year break from the movie industry, was screened alongside 11 other films at the award ceremony. It was produced by Esther Eiyibo and directed by Moses Inwang.

Other actors in the movie include Wale Ojo, Jide Kosoko, Kunle Remi, Bobby Obodo, Sexy Steel and Gregory Ojefua.

At the moment the actress is gearing up to feature in a new movie called “Shadow Parties” after recently playing a lead role in Kunle Afolayan’s “The Tribunal”.

It’s a great comeback for the star actress.
