In Austria, Olanrewaju Kayode helped Austria Vienna return to winning ways after finding the net in their 3-0 rout of Mattersburg in the Bundesliga on Sunday afternoon.
After a misplaced pass from Mattersburg defender Thorsten Mahrer, Kayode was fed by attacking midfielder Felipe Pires and the Nigerian slotted the ball past the goalkeeper.
Kayode’s 21st minute goal was his 18th goal from 43 matches in all competitions and his 11th goal in the league.
The Super Eagles debutant is Nigeria’s leading scorer in Europe’s top divisions this season.
In Sweden,Orebro attacking midfielder Michael Omoh was on target against his former team Ostersunds FK in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
Omoh assisted Orebro to register a 2-1 win, volleying the ball into the net in the 34th minute when a corner was not properly cleared by the visitors.
