Manchester City are set to offer Kevin De Bruyne a new contract to secure his long-term future at the club and possibly ward off possible suitors in the future after his impressive form for the club.
De Bruyne still has almost four years remaining on his current six-year deal, which he signed when he completed a £54 million switch from Wolfsburg in 2015.
The Etihad outfit see KVB as one of the finest midfielders in Europe and will reportedly increase his salary from £115,000 a week to £200,000.
Since returning to England in 2015, De Bruyne has won only one trophy which is the League Cup during his two years at the club and has set his sights on winning the Champions League and Premier League during his time at the Etihad Stadium.
