Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has given both the club and Nigerian fans high hopes, as he has resumed training after recovering from a nagging toe injury.

Iheanacho who missed Leicester’s opening day game against Arsenal was referred to a specialist after the toe injury he incurred in a preseason game against Borussia Mochengladbach resurfaced.

Though he will miss the Carabao Cup match against Sheffield United on Tuesday, he will surely be available for Leicester’s weekend visit away to Manchester United at Old Trafford and Super Eagles World Cup qualifier against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
