Next year’s edition of the annual event is themed “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic imagination.”
According to Vogue, Next spring, the costume institute will sanctify its love of fashion as it presents “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”
Designed to create a dialogue between fashion and the master work of religious art in the museum’s holdings, the show will be presented in a trinity of locations: the Anna Wintour Costume Center, the medieval galleries at the Met’s Fifth Avenue location, and further uptown at the Cloisters.
The event is set to hold on May 7, 2018 and hosting the event is Rihanna, Amal Clooney, and Donatella Versace.
Last year’s event was hosted by Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Gisele Bundchen, and Tom Brady .
