The 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards held last night to honour the best in U.S. prime time television programming.

As chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the TV programming year in view was from June 1, 2016 until May 31, 2017.

Stephen Colbert hosted the event, which held at the Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, California.
