Adekunle Gold, has confirmed his exit from the Olamide-owned label, YBNL, stating that he was signed to the label only for a period of two years.
He revealed that it is a standing policy for Olamide to sign an artiste for a period of two years after which they are free to be on their own without a contract renewal.
“Yeah, my contract expired and that is it. In YBNL, you don’t renew contracts; Olamide signed us for two years so that you can hustle on your own and then make things happen”.
He also made it clear that he is not floating his own record label.
“I don’t have my record label now, I’m on my own for now, and I don’t know about a record label but if it comes, fine, I don’t have the vision for now”.
