Access Bank’s Family Fortune Promo put more than smiles on people’s faces as the bank made dreams come true at its head office in Danmole Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
In a mega draw, families went away with great gifts including Scholarships of 1million naira, 15KVA Generators, all-expense paid trips to Dubai, a Kia Cerrato Car and a Luxurious house in Lekki.
The Access Bank Family Fortune Promo is a mechanism to encourage savings culture among families in Nigeria.
Previously, there had been many wins from the weekly random selections and monthly random selections but this is the first mega selection of the Family fortune promo and this time, 12 lucky families had the chance to win.
Some of the winners who won these prizes were called and spoken to instantly as their numbers showed up. While some of them were overwhelmed and expressed their joy at receiving the news, others were speechless. Apart from these prizes, there were other consolation prizes for customers who were participants at the event.
One of the winners, Angela Omonigho who won an all-expense paid trip to Dubai, was amazed at the sudden twist of events as she was scheduled to travel to Sokoto with her family for Christmas but can now go to Dubai.
Another winner, Mr. Celestine Ikwuka Obinabor, who won the Luxurious House at Lekki expressed his love and strong belief in Access Bank and thanked the Bank for changing the course of things for his family as they would soon move from their Ikota home.
Mrs E. Nwobi of the Consumer Protection Council says the council has monitored closely this scheme by the bank and is aware that the Bank operates with best regulatory practices and has been transparent and impartial in all dealings relating to the Family Fortune Promo.
Participants at the event included officials from the Consumer Protection Council, Ernst & Young National Lottery Commission, staff of the Bank, account holders and winners of previous draws.
The Head of Products and Segments, Inclusive Banking, Access Bank Plc, Mrs Ope Wemi – Jones says the Family Savings scheme is not just a periodical thing but is long-term and has come to stay as one of the offerings of the Bank to continuously encourage the culture of savings among families.
She further reiterated that Access Bank is positioned to make families bond, improve the standard of living of families and make families happy.
Mrs Wemi-Jones says she is certain that the day would be quite memorable for the Bank and the winners as the prizes won the event has the capacity to make the lives of the winners better. She also encouraged all families to partake in the scheme as there are prizes to be won weekly and monthly and confirmed that the next mega draw would be in 2018.
