The disappointment of the weekend came from Spain where Barcelona was surprisingly thrashed by Malaga 2-nil. The Camp Nou side who will play Juventus in the UCL on Tuesday, could not take advantage of Real Madrid’s draw against Atletico Madrid which ended 1-1.

Barcelona was defeated despite Malaga losing five of their last six matches and have not kept a clean sheet since October.
The La Rosaleda side was prolific on the night as they scored through Sandro Ramírez and Jony Rodríguez in the 32nd and 90th minute.
However, there was a sore point in the match as Neymar was sent off by Referee Gil Manzano for a second yellow card offence after a terrible challenge launched at Diego Llorente in the 68th minute.
Real Madrid now leads Barcelona with three points.
In the star match in Germany, Borussia Dortmund made it easy for Bayern Munich, as they lost 4 goals to 1. Bayern presently has 68 points while Dortmund is still fourth with 50 points.
Meanwhile, in the EPL, Leicester’s 6 games winning streak came to an end. They lost away to Everton by 4 goals to 2 in an entertaining fixture. This is the first loss of Craig Shakespeare since he took over from Claudio Ranieri. Leicester will hope that this loss will not affect them in their UCL match against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
