Having long and luscious natural hair is the goal. Seems like the toughest job at times, but not to worry, here are simple steps to growing long, healthy, natural hair.
consume fruits, vegetables, vitamins, zinc, iron & healthy fats such as omega 3, olive oil.
Trim your ends when needed – don’t hang on to spilt ends because they will accelerate breakage.
Shampoo your hair in sections to prevent tangles and breakage.
Drink 8 to 12 glasses of water per day.
Do a protein treatment every 6-8 weeks to strengthen your hair.
Deep condition your hair weekly for at least 30 minutes.
Wear protective styles when you can protect your hair ends (especially during the winter or harmattan).
Pretreat your hair with natural oils and/or conditioners before shampooing for strength.
Massage your scalp with castor oil at night to increase blood flow which promotes growth.
Always trim your hair with hair cutting scissors. Paper cutting scissors can cause spilt ends.
