Manchester United, last night, won their first European title in 9 years as they defeated Ajax 2-0.

Paul Pogba opened scoring in the first half while Henri Mkhirtaryan scored in the second half to make it 2-0, killing off any possible Ajax comeback.

MAN UTD

The players and officials took time out to pay tribute to the victims of the Manchester bombing.

Man Utd and Ajax players gathered around the centre-circle for a minute’s silence in memory of those who tragically lost their lives in the Manchester terror attack this week.

Some supporters can’t stay silent for longer than five seconds and so the stadium announcer improvised and changed things to a minute’s applause.

Manchester United will now face the winner of the UEFA Champions league final between Juventus and Real Madrid in the Super Cup.

Experience the victory in the slides above.
