A cycle women do not miss every month is menstruation. And this period can be very unpleasant, thanks to the familiar, yet unwanted cramps that come with the cycle for most girls. It can be uncontrollable and you would do anything to make them stop. Here are ways to deal with menstrual pain:

Reduce/avoid sugar intake

For women having their period, one thing they must run away from is sugar except they want to exacerbate the pain. In fact, some women are more daring as they still take sugar during their menstrual.

Take time to yourself

The pain can be unbearable that some women need a day off to help them recover fully. If you get a break, you should just sit indoors and simply rest. However, if you do not have this chance, ensure you do not stress yourself.

Exercise and stretching

Exercise and stretching loosen your muscles and eases the pain. This is one of the easiest ways to deal with the cramps.

Intermittently rubbing your lower tummy

Rubbing your stomach can also be effective in getting relief from menstrual pain.

Medicate

Try an over-the-counter pain reliever. These medicines can help make the cramps less painful.

Use heat pads

A heat pad is a pad used for warming parts of the body in order to manage pain. These pads can be placed on the area under your clothes. It helps you stay warm for about eight hours. This is better than using a hot water bottle.
